About Nikki...
I graduated from Christchurch College of Education in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Teaching and Learning.
After years of seeing my son struggle, and finally getting a Dyslexia diagnosis, I decided to learn everything I could to help him. Attending courses on the Structured Literacy Approach was the best decision I made. It’s been life-changing for him, and now I’m passionate about supporting others with Dyslexia too.
Our Expertise
Just Literacy specialises in the areas of Reading, Writing and Spelling. We offer support using a clear, cumulative and systematic approach towards Literacy, which aligns with the Science of Reading research. This is ideal for all learners and essential for Dyslexic learners.
Lesson options
We provide one-to-one individualised tutoring lessons. The lessons are evidence based and are driven by assessment data. We teach locally in the Nelson area, however we also provide interactive lessons with an online private tutor for those who live outside of Nelson.
